Agree on the offer before asking for three channels
Give Afield the audience, approved offer and source material. Research can fill gaps; your product specialist confirms what the business can provide. Then ask for the article, email or post that the campaign needs.
Demonstration brief: a fictional precision-parts supplier offers to review drawings before quoting. It needs material, quantity and critical tolerances. The campaign should help engineers prepare an enquiry, not promise an immediate quote.
Three finished versions from that brief
Website passage
What to include in a machined-parts enquiry
Send the drawing, material and expected quantity together. Identify the dimensions or tolerances that are critical to the part's function, and tell us if you are requesting a prototype or repeat production.
The first step is a drawing review. We use it to identify missing details and clarify requirements before preparing a quotation. If a dimension is still under design review, mark it as provisional rather than leaving us to assume it is final.
A useful enquiry might say: “Aluminium housing, 20 prototype units. The bearing bore is the critical dimension; the external mounting holes are still provisional.” Attach the drawing version that matches that note.

Subject: A drawing-review checklist for your next parts enquiry
Hello,
We have prepared a short checklist covering the drawing, material, quantity and critical tolerances needed for a machined-parts enquiry. It explains which details to clarify before requesting a quote.
Would that checklist be useful for the person preparing your next component enquiry? I can send the example first.
Best,

A drawing file is only part of a useful parts enquiry. Include the material, quantity and the dimensions that matter to the part's function. If a mounting hole is provisional but a bearing bore is fixed, say so. That distinction tells the supplier where to ask a question before quoting.
These are complete demonstration drafts. Choose the versions your team will use and replace the offer with your own confirmed service.
Make one correction travel across the drafts
If the specialist says the team cannot review provisional drawings, give Afield a bounded revision:
Update the website passage and email using this correction: we review final drawings only. Remove the provisional-dimension example. Keep the material, quantity and critical-tolerance checklist. Return the complete revised versions. The reviewer can now inspect the changed claim in the final copy. A vague request to “make it more accurate” leaves the actual decision unresolved.
Keep the handoff small
| Owner | Decision to leave with the work |
|---|---|
| Product specialist | Which service claims and examples are correct. |
| Marketer | Which final version belongs on each channel. |
| Publisher | Which connected destination to use and the resulting draft or public URL. |
Use the weekly plan for the remaining assignments and the channel-action guide for the publishing step. The table is a team handoff method, not a claim that Afield enforces those organizational roles.
