WORK EXAMPLES

Work examples

Account selection, a complete outreach email, and a campaign correction.
Editorial examples, not customer results.

01 / ACCOUNT SELECTION

Three companies. One relevant audience.

The brief is to offer a research-and-draft sample to agencies serving B2B SaaS clients. A company selling SaaS is not automatically an agency serving SaaS.

Offer

A small set of candidate companies, the source behind each match and individual first-contact drafts.

Exclude

Software vendors and agencies focused on unrelated markets.

Selection decisions from the existing public-source example, dated October 10, 2026. Not reverified as current company circumstances.

A franchise-focused offer needs its own brief.

Whether a different offer would be relevant.

Why this email follows from the research

  1. Start with the observed business.

The source supports a B2B SaaS focus. It does not establish a problem, budget or intent to buy.

  2. Offer something inspectable.

A small research sample is a concrete next step. “Grow faster with AI” would not say what the recipient receives.

  3. Leave the recipient unresolved.

The example names an organization, not a verified contact. It is not send-ready.

Where this example stops

The draft exists. No recipient was verified, no email was sent and no reply or revenue is claimed.

02 / CAMPAIGN REVISION

One correction must reach every version.

A fictional precision-parts supplier offers drawing review before quotation. The first brief did not specify whether provisional drawings were accepted.

BEFORE / UNSUPPORTED PROMISE

“If a dimension is still under design review, mark it as provisional.”

This suggests the supplier can review unfinished drawings.

AFTER / SPECIALIST'S CORRECTION

“We review final drawings only.”

Remove the provisional-dimension example. Keep material, quantity and critical tolerances.

DELIVERABLE A

Website passage

The correction belongs in the service explanation and the example enquiry.

REVISED / COMPLETE PASSAGE

Before you request a machined-parts quote

Send the final drawing, material and expected quantity together. Identify the dimensions and tolerances that are critical to the part's function, and say whether the request is for a prototype or repeat production.

We review final drawings before preparing a quotation. If a dimension is still provisional, finalize it before requesting the review.

A useful enquiry might say: “Aluminium housing, 20 prototype units. The bearing bore is the critical dimension. The attached final drawing is revision C.”

Send the drawing version that matches your note. We will use the review to identify missing information before quoting.

DELIVERABLE B

Outreach email

The email offers a checklist. It does not promise a quote or imply an existing relationship.

DELIVERABLE C

Social post

The same boundary is explicit in the shortest version.

REVISED / COMPLETE POST

A useful machined-parts enquiry includes the final drawing, material, quantity and critical tolerances.

If a dimension is still provisional, finalize it before requesting a drawing review. Make sure the drawing revision matches your enquiry note.

That gives the supplier a clear starting point for questions before quotation.

Review before use

Confirm that the business really offers this service. These are demonstration drafts, not published work. Check the complete versions for the final-drawings requirement and the absence of an immediate-quote promise.

03 / DELIVERY VERIFICATION

What would count as a completed mailbox check?

Use two inboxes you control and a unique label. A provider acknowledgment alone cannot tell you what appeared at the destination.

The test message

Subject: Afield mailbox check — [unique label]

This is my mailbox connection test.
Test label: [the same unique label]

I am checking the selected sender, destination address and whether this complete message can be read in the receiving inbox. No reply is needed.

Replace the bracketed label. Review the actual sender, recipient and draft before authorizing one test message.

HYPOTHETICAL RESULT / NOT A PROVIDER RECEIPT

Sender
Returns a successful send response and a message identifier.
Destination
No matching message found.
Conclusion
Send acknowledged; receipt unconfirmed.
Next action
Check the destination address, search scope and spam folder. Inspect the sender's sent message before considering a retry.
Completion evidence

A message found in the intended inbox matching sender, recipient, subject, unique label and body. If it is missing, preserve the result and investigate instead of immediately sending a duplicate.
