Choose the report for the question
| Question | Source to use |
|---|---|
| Which searches display our pages? | Search Console queries, impressions and clicks. |
| Which landing pages lead to a recorded action? | GA4 landing pages and the exact event definition. |
| What did the campaign produce or send? | Saved task results and execution receipts. |
| What did the buyer say? | The actual mailbox thread or recorded reply. |
Select the intended account or property in Integrations for connected reports. State the question before asking for a general campaign summary.
Define the comparison
For our selected property, compare the last 28 complete days with the previous 28. Focus on the migration page. Show the dates, filters and underlying rows. Separate unavailable data from recorded zero activity, and recommend one next investigation.Use the period appropriate to your activity. A comparison involving a launch, holiday or tracking change should name that difference. Ask for the same metric and scope in both periods.
Check the largest change before explaining it
Look at the affected page or query group. More impressions may come from new informational queries rather than stronger exposure to buyers. Fewer recorded signups may reflect a broken event rather than fewer completed forms.
Compare a sample row with the provider’s own report using the same property and dates. If the counts disagree, resolve scope and definitions before telling a causal story.
Create a task that can resolve the uncertainty
Finish with a task that names the target and next check: inspect a particular page’s opening for a query group, test the configured signup event, or review the actual newsletter link.
Recommendation: [one action]
Target: [page, event or account]
Evidence: [report row or conversation]
Uncertainty: [what this does not establish]
Next check: [what would resolve it]Retain the original report beside the action so a later review can show what changed. Drafts, published work and qualified enquiries are different results. See the worked marketing review.
